The paint works with the grain on this found piece of composite board. The central gold bar bangs out reflected light from the translucent, rollered blue sky. Inspired by the long drive from Lone Pine in California following the Sierra Nevada up to Yosemite. Magical.
Oil paint on 18mm board. Please note this painting is on a found piece of wood and hence has a curvature from left to right of approx 10mm.
