The works on paper are used as an arena to explore and experiment. I love the freedom that this enables and find that often this generates interesting and exciting results.
For this piece, I was interested in expressing the energy of a natural space broken down into a series of abstracted strokes into the simplest of forms. The intention is to express the essence of natural elements in a space also suggesting absence.
