The works on paper are used as an arena to explore and experiment. I love the freedom that this enables and find that often this generates interesting and exciting results.
For this piece, I was fascinated by the idea of a single stroke in a negative aperture space to exemplify time and movement and to convey a sense of energy. The intention is to express the essence of natural elements in a space full of absence.
